This literature study is used as input for the second phase and also on the methodology to evaluate the results. In the second phase workshops were organized with a group of experts with different backgrounds to analyze and define the final designs. The revetment blocks were later applied in the intertidal zone on a frame (Yerseke) and at a dyke revetment (Sint Annaland site).

The research and design of the revetment was achieved in two phases. The first phase comprised a literature study of similar projects, see this page. This literature study is used as input for the second phase and also on the methodology to evaluate the results. In the second phase workshops were organized with a group of experts with different backgrounds to analyze and define the final designs.
